Truth is Truth and Sin is Sin

In all stances there are adversarial contexts and diversions. But truth is truth and it is the resolve no matter what.

There is no other book like The Bible. It is also the most misinterpreted book ever written. The only way anyone can really understand it is by having and cultivating an intimate and personal relationship with God.

Admitting some stories like the Fall of Jericho, Jonah getting thrown into a whale and talking donkeys could cause questionable thoughts, there is none more controversial than Jesus’s conception. However, believing in God truthfully will deliver anyone from the lies and deceptions written about them.

It is beyond my belief the Supreme Court would actually take our money, time and effort to discuss the basis for marriage definition. Read the Bible.

As this debate heats up professing, knowledgeable Christian’s twist the Bible’s definition that marriage is between one man and a woman.

So is the case of an article by Rebecca Todd Peters titled, “Biblical Marriage is not what you think.”

Her background and education should warrant that of one who gets it; she doesn’t.

Literally speaking she has taken the Biblical contexts of how people were living in adultery, committing vile acts with the same sex and portraying Sodom and Gomorrah as a definition of marriage.

Sure the Old Testament is full of adulterers, concubines, and polygamy; that doesn’t mean God approved. It also doesn’t mean those who sinned sexually didn’t suffer the consequences. They did. We are. Just look at the aftermath of Hagar having Ishmael. Centuries and millennia later the war is on between him and Isaac. It has never stopped. Yet Ms. Peters would have you think it was a willing notion of God to approve. It wasn’t. And he still doesn’t.

David took his best friend’s wife then killed him. Not only did their first born die as a baby, David suffered terribly afterwards for his sin.

Solomon took the cake when it came to wives and concubines. If for no other reason trying to keep so many women happy would be enough to be married to one.

I am not making light of this. My theory as to why God allowed the Bible to include such sin is to show the sin and reveal the consequences that followed.catholic_bible

Just because the prevalence of sexual sin is noted, does not mean God approved of it any more than he did of thievery, murder or lying. Sin is sin.

As far as the Supreme Court taking up this issue, the truth still remains they do not get to define marriage any other way than God’s way.

Any action has been taken by those who wish to live as they choose, suing others who disagree with that lifestyle and pushed the agenda down our throats.

Since sin is sin, why not have all the murderers push to change the laws by allowing people to murder without punishment?

Why not do the same with liars? Cheaters? Idol Worshippers? Rioters who destroy and injure others?

The list goes on and on. No matter the sin it is lawlessness. And with lawlessness comes death. And God is in the business of giving life.

Ms. Peters got her article printed in the Huffington Post. She gives credence to evil as if it is a right just as the fight for marriage is being argued in the Supreme Court. Her credits and education must give her the notoriety to write such garbage. But it has nothing to do with her training. It is her political correctness opinion along with her own misinterpretation of the Bible.

As far as I am concerned the Supreme Court has no right to touch this issue much less vote on it. It has already been established by God.

And God doesn’t change his mind.

“For the times they Are a-Changin”

Bob Dylan wrote that song in 1963; it was released in 1964. Times were a-changin but not for the better.

Did Bob Dylan know the Supreme Court would outlaw prayer in public school as he wrote those lyrics in 1963?

Around the corner in August of 1969 arrived Woodstock. As a student in high school the rumors were “who is going to Woodstock?” It was the hall-talk, locker-jargon and classroom disruptions. The festival was the “place” to go according to the druggies and rock-n-rollers.

Looking back Woodstock was a festival made in hell organized by Satan himself. His deceptive influence had ushered in a generation of hippies who drank, smoked anything that could burn, free sex and ugly clothes. In the last few years those ugly clothes made it to our stores once again bringing back the memories of that mud filled event.hippie wardrobe

I didn’t understand what could be so great about going to an outdoor sing-a-long on a dairy farm with no showers, few outhouses and 3 days of simmering heat. The smell must have been rank. The trash was probably piled high of used drug needles, empty beer bottles, cigarette/weed butts and leftover ugly clothes from those who ended up naked. And attendees left announcing they had been a part of the greatest music event in history.

Was God there? Did he attend this music fest of youth subculture?

Probably. But for different reasons.

He was there answering prayers of many parents of those who went.

He brought his angels to ward off demons of death.

He made his presence known to the devil himself as a warning.

2012 marked 42 years since that 3 day bacchanalia.

And the times they are a-changin once again and it has nothing to do with Woodstock.

Sept of 2009 marked a major era of what the Jewish calendar calls the Ayin Season.

There are shifts occurring in the atmosphere. We will be given new vision or open doors that were not there before. God will give us the ability to see above that which we have not seen before.

What have we experienced over the last 12 months? A barrage of corruption gone wrong.

Benghazi attack
IRS oversight scandal
NSA spy scandal
Associated press investigation: James Rosen
ATF Fast and Furious
GSA scandal of abusing $823,000 of tax payer funds
Solyndra
War on Christmas
(To name a few)

Do you think these fraudulent and dishonest accounts came to light all by themselves?

And what about the men who died in Benghazi? Or Fast and Furious?

As the devil turns up the heat, God is pouring on loads of Holy Spirit fire to stamp him out.

Psalm 34: 15 “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.”
The shift is almost tangible. The air is filled with a new kind of warfare; a battle of supernatural proportions with the “Commander” (Isaiah 55:4) of all humanity leading the way.

According to this Jewish era, this season will bring with it a fresh guidance from God. He will mark the ground before us with his own steps. He will release power unknown before by bringing his people to doors of opportunity.

We will come to closed doors of our faith, health or strength only to be told to open it. On the other side will be strength, might and authority unleashed upon those who follow the “Power of God.” (1 Corinthians 1: 24)

Could it be the “Rewarder” of the faithful has heard our cries? (Hebrews 11: 6)

Could it be the “Spirit of Truth (John 14:1, 15:26, 16:13) is blowing a wind so forceful people will be knocked over by the love of God!

The Black Widower’s Sticky Stuff

God is full of surprises.

Just when you think he has forgotten your prayers he vindicates you with the promise he made.

Years later the course of action brings justification to prophetic words spoken by the one who saw it coming.  Yes. Over and over you grill into the thick heads of pride and stubbornness,

“You can’t do that, it is illegal.”

The confirmation occurs at the expense of hurt feelings, ruined relationships and lost trust.

It would be so much easier if bone headed brains would listen in the first place.

The all famous slogan of “I told you so,” might get a break in the event the egotistical fool hits rock bottom.

Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt. Mark Twain must have known many who fit this category.  Certain types of personalities tend to reach the level of stupidity using denial as their weapon of choice. Why accept what you don’t want to believe? Make it go away with “No, you’re wrong.”

What is so terrible about admitting we’re wrong?

Is it worth the loss of family, friends and your health?

Is it worth your job, integrity or success?

While the denier slowly peels off pieces of everything and everyone in their life, eventually one gets close enough to witness the unraveling of a mask, or disguise. Once discovered, the true meaning behind this dual personality is one lie after another.

The court of public opinion will never believe the innocent one. Why?

The deceiver is an actor. Broadcasting their wonderful attributes in an open forum they honestly believe they will never get caught. Behind closed doors may be a monster who threatens the very one they are supposed to love. Call it what you will; it is mental and emotional abuse from a cowardly jerk who could care less who they step on.th

But, what they don’t know will get them in the end.

No gloating here. God deserves all the glory.

Eventually, and always the deceiver is found out. Years after the fact not only does the prophetic come to pass, the deceiver gets caught in their own wicked web.

Caught red handed in a spider’s web they spun, God allows the tensile strengthened silk to get slapped with rain and wind causing it to fall apart on its own.  The Black Widower is now left with nothing much but a few strands of non-sticky web that can’t catch anything.

Psalm 37: 5-6 “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.”

Exoneration is God’s business.my boss is a carpenter

Jesus knew all about injustice. More than anyone else.

Isaiah 53:8 “By oppression and judgment he was taken away.”

And while he was away he beat the devil at his own game.
