A Call to Prayer

History is repeating itself.

The names may have changed, only the game is the same.

The goal is annihilation; only it’s more than one nation.

The evil is anti-Semitic and full of hate; we need to stop this terrible fate.

Threats and demands are the order of their day; producing fear and destruction along the way.

How long do we wait to aid our brothers and sisters in Christ?

How long do they suffer while our government ponders their plight?

We have no excuse for leaving in the first place; they need the strong arm of America’s military base.

This is a call to prayer my friends; a call to God for this genocide to end.

So to those who read this, please pass it on so we can fight the enemy’s wrongs.

Ask God for his mercy; ask God for his grace so his people will repent and find peace all over the place.

2 Chronicles 7: 14 “If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.”

Who Knew?

The “Writing is on the Wall” or in the news, social media and TV.

The word is God was raising up another Joseph, but in the Middle East. Somehow he must have missed his flight and landed in Louisiana.

Only this time, his brothers aren’t the betrayers; he is a marked man from political insiders, Gay activists and a TV network gone awry.

Who knew he would arrive as a bearded swamp man who loved calling ducks. A man of principal waving his Bible in front of the world as a message of hope, joy and love.

The difference in Joseph of the Bible and the latest copy is the beginning of their lives. One grew up in the family of God; the other veered off the track into sex, drugs and rock- n- roll. Transformation comes in all forms. His was the kind of conversion that shaped the rest of his life.

Who knew what God was planning?

Who knew God was raising up this “swamp man” and his family for the last almost 7 decades to remind America he never left; he hasn’t changed his mind and his word is the truth.

Like Joseph, what began as a work of the devil became one of the greatest stories of forgiveness, grace and vindication.

Who knew God would create a family of long haired, bearded duck callers to become an “industry” within themselves and rock the entertainment world to the core?

Who knew a greedy TV network would contract this family of Louisiana Duck Callers with the plan to get the nation to laugh at them for their religious convictions?

Who knew God had given the hearts of his people the resources to raise up and fight for his religious beliefs?

Who knew the people of God would rally around this family of God by the multitudes in support of his Biblical stance?

And who knew God would allow it to backfire on the greedy in such a big way it would aid in changing the direction of this nation back to Jesus?

Well…..God did.

Isaiah 49:25 “I will contend with those who contend with you.”

Burning Bushes: The Game of Hide and Seek

Moses knew what a burning bush looked like but he wasn’t prepared for one that didn’t burn up while on fire.

The story lays claim to a great mystery of Biblical proportion even non-Christians have heard about.

While we know God used the bush to get his attention, there is more to the story.

40 years had passed since Moses was kicked out of Egypt but what had changed?

Pharaoh? Had the slaves been set free? Had his people forgotten him?

Who knew, but the change was Moses.

Far from the elite life of Egyptian royalty, he had been in the school of hard knocks for 4 decades.

He went from privilege to poverty; from Egyptian born to his true roots as a Hebrew and from arrogant pride to obscure humility.

So what does this have to do with modern society?

If you read the papers, surf the net, or turn on the news it is easy to get depressed quickly. The world is falling apart before our eyes; innocents are being attacked and killed in the name of Allah and America is floating in a sea of moral decay.

Much is being spread of destruction, financial collapse, wars and rumors of wars so where is God?

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

I don’t know about you, but I worship a big God.

He is greater than any catastrophic event.

He has armies of angels he has let loose from the heavens with the armor of giants and last I heard he has more money than Solomon….

He can be anywhere all the time and has eyes in the back of his head.

God sees all and knows all.

People of God, he wants us to do as Moses did; stop and look at this site.  The secular world sees only secular pictures only it is what they don’t see that counts.

Moses maybe took a “double-take?” I would have. If for no other reason except out of curiosity.

He laid his eyes upon the supernatural; his feet on Holy Ground.

Maybe God gave him glimpses of his future; his calling to be the “Deliverer.”

Maybe God revealed his love for the Jewish people and allowed Moses to soak in it himself.

Maybe God’s glory was so profound, Moses experienced what no other man would ever encounter.

The saying, “things often get worse before they get better” rings a bell right now.

The enemy is well aware his time is short and he is making good use of it. What he isn’t aware of are the “burning bushes” God has planted around the world.

If the enemy has beefed up his assaults on mankind what do you think God is doing?

Planting potatoes? No!

God is playing hide and seek.

Isaiah 54: 17 “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.”

Sending in his forces. Revving up his armies of angels. Transporting military with more back-up power than all of the devil’s demons combined.

God is planting seeds of his warriors Moses, David and Jeremiah to line his people with courage, strength and peace of mind.

He is bringing in his wisdom, knowledge and understanding through the likes of Solomon.

And…..has anyone heard that Joseph has returned to Egypt?

I have. He is already there in a prison in a repeat performance of Joseph, the son of Jacob.

God has said it is too late for the Middle East to win now. He has set his people in place to fulfill his word.

Israel is forever.

God is beating the devil to his latest punch.

Psalm 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you be secure.”

Lights in the Deserts

Crews sharpen skills at Atlantic Strike

How do you respond when the words, “I don’t really have to go because of my injury” are not what you expected to hear?

“What injury?”

“I was hit in the shoulder by an IED while deployed in Afghanistan.”

A casual remark as if it was an everyday event. Maybe it had been to him.

I must admit I was somewhat surprised by his impromptu “matter of fact” emotion.

Years of traveling all over the world, he learned bits and pieces of Arabic, or Farsi as he rattled them off remembering conversations with Muslims.

5.5 years of living, breathing and attaining educated guesses from the Air Force personnel here is just that. They speak their own language and civilians like me always seem to be left questioning. Confidentiality is of utmost importance.

The need to be extra careful not to dive into a memory they prefer not to remember is a consideration I had to learn. Some deploy and come home a different human being not noticeable from the surface. It is a learned process for those of us in the minority here who watch from the distance. A 6 month deployment can reign in a mood that didn’t exist before they left.

A self-proclaimed detachment sets in as they enter back into a life they will never find again.  You can see it in their eyes; pain, sadness and fear stored inside heavy hearts.

There is a difference in acclamation depending on the rank. Most of our neighbors are or have been Majors, Pilots and Lt. Colonels.  The longer one serves reflects a character trait of strength and maturity rarely seen. Life is what it is wherever they are.

In the midst of political turmoil and hostility around the globe flowed words you will never hear on the news or read about on the internet. As the media and our government  continue to cheat the public from the truth producing an atmosphere of fear, a sense of anger arose in our den from this hero unknown to most.

My curious nature obscures my mouth at times, but I want to know what is really going on in the Middle East. The protection of God’s people and his land, Israel are sitting ducks surrounded by what would appear to be pure, unadulterated hate from all sides.

The stigmas created for a moment of ratings rattled this hero. The quiet fury this Christian officer revealed was to calm my nerves as he spoke the words I wanted to hear.

“I have been everywhere and especially the Middle East. 90% of the world is just like you and me. They want to be happy, healthy, and live calm, peaceful lives with their families and friends, and the Muslims are no different.”

Life changing words unspoken in the public arena that need to be heard instead of the urgent 10% getting attention they crave. In no way does this condone the 10% for the anguish and distress produced by “cradles of evil” in all facets of life.

However, doom and gloom has surfaced as excitement, adventure and the next best thing for the media/Hollywood,  content to exploit it for personal gain.

In the center of evil, courageous men and women of God step on soil that has never heard of Jesus.

Marking His territory with the Cross of Christ in reclusive habitations or underground bunkers they risk it all for the sake of lost souls who otherwise would never know the Gift of Salvation.

The light is still burning.

The candle is lit.god is awesome

What the devil doesn’t know is God planned ahead.

He has millions and millions of fluorescent light bulbs waiting to cover the earth with His Awesome Glory.

The Joys of Crossing the Border

Knee Deep Blockheads

Knee deep in the media world is a conspiracy so loud and obnoxious we have overlooked one very important issue.brand journalism

Journalism use to be real journalism. You know: when political views weren’t at the forefront of a story or article. Oh, some may have been leaning one way or another but the war had not started and it wasn’t as noticeable as today.

Sad to say this but it is difficult to know who is a real journalist/reporter. Ratings have become the competition for no-news,
sick-news or whatever they can find to report.

For instance: Do I really care about the filth and unpatriotic insanity cascading from Michael Moore’s big mouth?

Or what about the “five mistakes people make when buying pet insurance?” Really?

Of course there is the toothbrush causing a delay at the Atlanta Airport. Investigators held up a flight due to a suspicious noise coming from a travel bag. Turns out it was a vibrating toothbrush.

But…sometimes it backfires. Yes, the newspaper in New York that splashed gun owners in their area on a Google Earth map have been referred to as “insanity.” Ex-burglars turned criminal investigators reported “having a gun list is like gold.” Why would anyone rob a house with guns in it? The following link is the story which is actually funny but not really.

Air Force One: Protected

Air Force One: Protected

Escaping the Middle East crisis, worries of nuclear war, crime and violence is virtually impossible.  There is always another accident waiting to happen, natural disasters one after another and a new strain of flu. The devil is front page news.

Our technology as advanced as it is allows for much more to be seen than ever before. Stress and anxiety surround you first thing in the morning before your feet hit the floor; I would label it “misery overload.”

And then…..one of those many random questions you asked God 2 years ago shows up with an answer(s).  A fleeting moment of thought becomes a “brain freeze” because that particular question results in a jaw-dropping, shock absorbing divine utterance you didn’t see coming. A one sentence deliberation that changes your outlook completely.

After digesting a resolution that confirmed to some degree your own position, it is so powerful it rearranges the priorities of what you think, how you think and future responses.

As we recline in our recliners observing the people we do not know, it is easy to assume what we view as genuine, or concrete. Listening to opinions, political views rammed down our throats and pictures of the unimaginable is a marketing tactic gone awry. Feed them what you want them to hear over and over until they believe it. Listen, read and pour into their conscience a wrong so wrong, dwelling on anything else is impossible. Doing so would place you in the “pool of intolerant inconsiderate blockheads.”

Unexpected forerunners from high places somehow land in your path and awaken a deception the devil has unfortunately mastered. He laughs as many fall prey repeatedly to his lies, fraud and double-dealing.

What he doesn’t know is the stamps of wisdom God has placed in the center of what appears to be the most insufferable conditions.

Hebrews. 4:13 “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”

Those stamps of wisdom are cementing their footprints of God’s truth in the sand of the hearts of many right in the middle of the devil’s wake. He just hasn’t figured that out.

Marked Moments

A marked moment changes your behavior, speech and attitude.

Moments like the day your best friend decides you are no longer their best friend.

Or the day you realize how blessed you are to have other friends.

The day you were given your first pet.

The argument you had when you spoke those regrettable words.

The moment you accepted Jesus as your Savior.

The night the lightning hit the house and your life was spared.

The camping trip you took that ruined your desire to ever camp again.

The speed trap where you received your first speeding ticket.

The day you discovered Fabuloso.

The night you looked out the back window and 4 bears were sitting in your yard.

That moment when you thought you fell in love.

The phone call you never wanted.

The graduation you worked so hard to obtain.

The point in time when you knew you married the wrong person.

The day that long lost relationship was restored.

The first time the words of God jumped off the page of the Bible and became real.

The afternoon you gazed upon the huge, beautiful eyes of a live Bobcat about 50 feet from where you were standing. And you froze.

The joy God gave you when you held your baby for the first time.

The moment you were told you no longer had a job; but God gave you a better job.

The house you bought for a whole lot less than everyone told you could get it for.

The mild afternoon you took out the trash; out of the corner of your eye is something very large and brown walking down the street. You yell to your neighbor sitting on her front porch, “Get in the house! It’s a bear!”

The moment in time when walking away was the only solution.

Isaiah 61:1, 3 “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”

September 11, 2001

The day God spoke and you ignored him.

The day God spoke and you listened.

He said, “The time has arrived when I will pour my Spirit upon the nations. An awakening unlike any other in history is beginning.  The lost lives of many will come to know my name from the depths of the “east” to the stars in the “west” and the Temple Square. As the world sets fire to that which is sacred, I will shed “light” and Elisha shall come forth; that which has always been mine, shall remain.”

When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19b)

“Holy War”

This has been a tough week all over.

It may look bleak and hopeless but I am reminded God is still on the throne. In fact he never left his Royal chair.  He is still very much in charge.

We have been  in the middle of a “Holy War” even as many deny faith and religion. Protests, flag burnings and factions are ravaging across the nations in an all out battle on Holiness.
Many, even in America seek to silence the words
of Jesus, but it is to their own
trepidation they do so.

For America it is one of a people who deny the word God in their platform while excluding Jerusalem and the Prime Minister from meeting with the President once again.

Think back to the election of 2008. Many, a year before absolutely knew the Democrat contender for President was Hillary Clinton.  Millions of backers there was no one else on the horizon; until a man appeared out of what we would call “Nowhere” and all of a sudden
Hillary had a real fight on her hands.

This man, an African American Senator was for the most part unknown. I had never heard of him. The campaign heated up between the two hurling accusations from both sides. In the end Barack Obama won the nomination and became President.

Why do you think it happened the way it did?

Didn’t it appear something was up? Or did we miss an important memo?

Do you think God stepped in and had something to do with it?

Proverbs 8:15-16 “By me kings reign and rulers issue decrees that are just; by me princes govern, and nobles—all who rule on earth.

Appearances are often misleading. My reasoning for why God allowed this is most likely what none would think. However, even I have questioned God “why him?” Why not Allen West or Herman Cain or Artur Davis?

The mood and divisiveness our nation currently holds is almost at the boiling point. God is for unity, not division.

Proverbs 28:2 “When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a ruler with discernment and knowledge maintains order.”

Let’s just say God had everything to do with our present President being elected; what does that say about our vote? Is it meaningless? Why bother? If God chooses leaders for us, why have a democratic system giving the people a voice?

Having never thought like this before God has shown me our votes count; but not in choosing our leaders as much as what our hearts represent.  If we vote for one who is living the life God chose for him to live, by his Word and his Will, this would mean we understand and honor God.

If we vote against God’s Will and Word we are very likely to lose many of his blessings. This automatically goes against our personal relationship with God and the direction of the nation we live in.

A major effort in God’s heart is the state of Israel. He who supports Israel will receive God’s blessings. Any group or nation, who does not, will in the end be defeated.

Psalm 121:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure.”

So…..if God had everything to do with how the elections down through the ages have turned out,
what do you think he will do this November?

God could care less about the proclamations of the media.

God could care less about our opinions.

God won’t base his decision on the Electoral College or which states lean left or right.

God will place in the Oval Office who he wants to sit in that Chair for the next 4 years.

Maybe, just maybe he has something planned we didn’t see coming once again.

God Gave me a Glimpse of the Future: An “Open Vision of Flowers”

Last fall we went on a short beach trip. Living about 2 hours from the coast is a dream come true for me. The trip is made on one main highway which navigates through small towns and in need of new construction. The old highway is a straight shot but with a number of speed traps. Decorated along the way are simple shops, a post office or two and country restaurants. If you are looking for a metropolis, you won’t find it here.

The back country trip is one I have made numerous times so the ride is now more familiar.  Due to this particular trip being a business conference for my husband we had to go in separate vehicles.

Friday morning around the middle of October 2011 driving on this lonesome trail alone I began to reflect on God’s creation and how unpretentious the livelihood remains.
All of a sudden I felt like I was having a dream while awake.  I realized I was experiencing an “Open Vision.”

The landscape is open wide for farming or raising cattle and even horses.

It was as if God highlighted certain dilapidated buildings, worn out homes or pieces of what use to be houses. Torn down fences with wood lying around, abandoned stores or wood sheds, and the brick fireplace where families most likely built a fire to keep warm.

As I slowed down the color around this loss of life had a yellowish hue. In the vision it smelled of death.

Evidences of fields where crops grew were empty and dead. It was evil. It was what was left of Satan’s destruction.

Words resounded in my ears saying “What you see here use to be a home where families worked to make a living and children playing outside. The abandoned stores and empty fields provided necessities while they attended the little church that no longer exists.”

Caught up in this vision God’s spirit was speaking to me, I noticed flowers. Beautiful, colorful flowers right in the middle of all of this ruined wreckage. The pattern continued as I crept down the road; flowers growing in the strangest spots but all surrounded by an undoing and extermination of what was life.

The vision became alive. Fathers were farming and planting their crops. Mother’s were hanging laundered clothes out to dry. Children were running and playing without a care in the world. Their faces smiled with joy and happiness. The flowers gave off scents of lilacs and roses. God’s love shed brilliance over everything in sight. It felt like love.

Watching this movie play out until the life faded away in the distance was once again replaced by the carnage of what use to be.

The inner voice of the Holy Spirit spoke to me.  “Destruction is not my Creation and will not remain. What I have revealed to you is what will be again.”

As quickly as the vision appeared it was gone just as fast. What seemed to be a long time was a few seconds. My car had barely moved.

At the time of this vision God gave me an instruction and a promise.

Instruction: God wants us to be like the flowers. Color our faith with his word so it grows high in the dense hatred of oppression, havoc and doom so much so the lost will see life instead of death. Good instead of evil; right instead of wrong. He wants us to stand out in the crowd of all that is bad and blossom for the kingdom of God.

Promise: For those who follow this instruction will reap abundance in every area of your life. Your futures will lack for nothing. Deuteronomy 28 will be your lifeline of blessings.

Since that day I have asked God to give me more insight into this vision. This is what I believe he has revealed to me.

He is shaking things up from the church to the government.

We are beginning a season of change for his people for good.

He is using that which appears to be evil for good even if it looks the opposite.

He is working behind the scenes in Middle Eastern countries bringing women and children to Christ in record numbers although you would never see it on the News.

God is getting ready for a political shocker. And then some.

You ask why now? Why speak of this now? Because God told me to.

Galatians 6:7-8: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”
