The Great American Shift

Pondering this for quite some time now, it is clear the position of America has shifted.

The question of “should Christians get involved with politics?” is one that has been swept under the proverbial rug for decades. Why? The idea that we would have a voice in governing was a deceptive lie of the enemy that many embraced on both sides.

How can any country have Christian leaders if they don’t get involved with the process?

Exodus 18:21

“Furthermore, you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens.”

The above verse demonstrates God’s purpose for us in that we have the elect duty to place in leadership roles those who pledge truth to govern. Once again God gives us the choice but if we elect people of dishonest gain, we all will suffer.

In my 63 years on this earth, I have never known America to be so divided. For decades the enemy has been working hard to achieve disunity and to a great extent he has succeeded. But this is America, and what goes on in America goes elsewhere and God is putting a halt to it.

A discorded media, along with venomous social atmospheres have become the crusades of hate, vitriol, cruelty, bullying and maliciousness. Much of these have been planted; paid for and fueled by wealthy donors of contempt and viciousness. Why? The devil doesn’t like to lose and he is speaking through the mouths of those who have allowed him entrance into their sad, jealous lives to maintain power and control.

As I dive into to murky waters here, it is imperative that we see the difference. God is no respecter of persons or political party. (Romans 2:11) However, when it is perfectly clear which side is right and which one is wrong, we as Christians need to wake up and understand God expects us to follow righteousness even if it goes against what our family has always done or what we have believed in the past.

Recently on Facebook a woman replied to a comment I made about the state of our country. Her hate for President Trump centered on the future of her grandchildren and what a terrible example he was as our leader. She had been a Democrat her entire life and felt our present government was leading us down the wrong path. She alluded to the fact she is a Christian and didn’t really believe in abortion yet was determined to vote liberally.

My response to her was anyone who votes Democrat at this point is voting for abortion, homosexuality (etc.), illegal immigration, and just about anything anti-Christian. The top 2 are reasons enough for any Christian to vote conservatively because they go against everything God stands for. She never responded. At the least, hopefully she rethought her position.

Christians have had the idea President Trump isn’t Christian enough. He isn’t a Pastor, Preacher or Priest. He’s a business man. Yet, observe just a few of his positions and accomplishments so far.

President Trump’s Executive Order prohibits the U.S. Government from discriminating against Christians or punishing expressions of faith, affirming First Amendment protections for religious freedom.

President Trump has reversed President Obama’s policy of allowing transgendered people to serve in our military because the military is no place for progressive social experiments.

President Trump has given states the option to deny Planned Parenthood access to Medicaid and other federal grant money because Planned Parenthood uses this money to facilitate its conducting of more than 328,000 abortions per year at Planned Parenthood’s abortion mills.

In sharp contrast to President Obama’s rhetorical war on America’s police, President Trump is outspoken in his support for America’s police and has offered cities federal support to crack down on violent crime in our city streets.

President Trump ordered the move of the embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. A major win for the Jewish people that no other President has accomplished.

President Trump and his team have worked diligently to free almost 20 Americans from foreign prisons including Christians such as Pastor Andrew Brunson.

We must remind ourselves that many in the Bible such as Moses, Abraham, David, Samson, Peter and Paul were faulted men who in some cases were involved in criminal acts. God raised them up and used them mightily to achieve his purposes. God is doing the same with President Trump. He is just as human as they were and as we are.

Election Day is around the corner and many are already voting. God is just getting started with the last great revival. He is using America as a cornerstone of spreading the gospel because we are and always have been a Christian nation.

God has given America a fair and balanced system of election; use it. Vote according to God’s word and will.

All you have to do is Google an agenda for the Republicans and Democrats and read the Bible.

The writing is on the wall. (Daniel 5)

make america great again

The Marvel of It All

Joseph. The man we tend to forget. The man who had to decide to do the unthinkable.

Bringing to my attention his supporting actor role in the most important birth in history, I felt as if I had left him out of much of the casting. This wasn’t done to belittle his career but the focus was elsewhere.

Mary was a chosen woman. One with an appointment like none other. How would any man be able to live up to the standards of the mother of the Son of God? How would any man be able to do what he was asked to do without some hesitation on his part?

Granted, Mary’s role wasn’t easy by any means but neither was Joseph’s. Over the centuries Mary has been given the lead actor’s position in a drama only God could have written, but Mary couldn’t have fulfilled her heroic purpose without Joseph.

One might refer to Joseph as the back-up guy, or Mary’s support system.

First he had to accept her pregnancy without understanding it. But who would believe such a story?

He had to fight off crowds of accusers for the lie she supposedly was telling.

He lost friends. Coworkers. Acquaintances.

How does a soon- to- be groom explain to his family his betrothed is pregnant by another man?

Yet, Joseph stood against the odds and accepted Mary as his soon- to- be wife in the midst of a presumed scandalous affair.

And Joseph thought this was the hard part.

After God revealed to Joseph in a dream Mary was indeed telling the truth, he would embark on a journey no other man has ever taken.

Matthew 1:20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

How does a man protect the mother- to- be of the Lamb of God?

How does a man walk on foot across miles and miles of treacherous terrain leading his wife who is in her last trimester of pregnancy carrying the Light of the World on a donkey?

And then how does a man who probably had never witnessed a woman giving birth aid in giving birth to the King of the Jews?

Not only were these all “firsts” for Joseph, but he had no other place to take her but a smelly, old hay filled manger with cows and goats watching.

Was that what Joseph had planned for his new bride?

Was this the scene he wanted his legacy to be built upon?

Was this Joseph’s idea of a birthing place for the Prince of Peace? The Anointed One? Emanuel?

My thinking is he never had time to fully comprehend the enormity of it all before it happened.

They had to leave town immediately to escape Herod’s henchmen.

Joseph didn’t have time to find a Marriott Hotel for the birth; he had to take what was available.

And babies are born on their own schedule. Joseph wasn’t given a crash course in midwifery.

Had God given Joseph a heads up a few years prior to this extraordinary story, would he have skipped town?

Would he have asked, “God, I’m not the man for this job, please find someone else?

If Joseph had thought it through would he have understood the magnitude of his calling?

If he had let it all sink in would he have taken on the fatherhood of the child who would one day be his Savior?

Joseph, the quiet man standing in the shadows probably spent the rest of his earthly life pondering the marvel of it all.

Matthew 1:16 and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, and Mary was the mother of Jesus who is called the Messiah.

“Houston, still has a problem?”

Having lived in Houston for 5 years in the mid 1980’s, I can vouch that such large cities attract problems.

Thankfully Texas in general is thriving now but when I lived there it had hit rock bottom.

Shutting down oil reserves and companies all but killed the state and Houston was hit extremely hard due to its location near the gulf.  Job loss was so extreme Harris county had over 1 million homeowners walk away from their properties.  Sign companies, one of the few who made out well couldn’t keep up with the orders for “Foreclosure.”

Residential areas were lined with empty, trashed out homes changing the view of this huge metropolis into a visible “ghost town.” Literally, it crashed and burned.

Not wanting to be there to begin with the depressed market certainly didn’t help. Riding around planted a sense of sadness into the hearts of those who remained leaving me with a helpless plateau.

The realization that placing all you’ve got into one basket could have been Houston’s theme. In other words, diversify but only with God’s leading.

Thus was the instrument of panic.

The Federal Government at that time decided to buy oil overseas to safeguard ours. Now some decades later we are still doing so having been held captive to the Middle East providing them with billions in revenue; much of which has been used against us and anyone who doesn’t agree with the Islamic agenda.

Was it the right move? I didn’t think so then and don’t now. I witnessed firsthand the consequences of such panic.

Fast forward and Houston is once again the object of a city government trying to make something work than isn’t supposed to but mostly goes against Biblical principles.

Despite my dislike for being there, most “Houstonians” I met couldn’t have been nicer. They were hard working, caring, church going, and Bible thumping people with a southern twist to “boot.” Yes, they still love their boots, hats and trucks.

The outrage over Mayor Anise Parker’s efforts this week to stifle free speech by demanding Preacher’s send in their sermons for review is not only a selfish act of extreme proportions, it is unconstitutional and illegal.

If every politician chose some belief system of their own to use against a certain group or individuals as she has done, chaos would have consumed the human race by death. This is the very reason God had the constitution written as it was.

The latest admission was the change from “sermons” to “speeches” to make it sound irreligious giving the city council and Mayor supposedly a civil right to their evil deeds.

If she wants to be fair she should,

Require anyone who is claiming the homosexual lifestyle to never say, write or demean in anyway a Christian organization, or any other religious group of their beliefs.

Remove any or all information that may be offensive to pro-lifers, prayers in schools, patriotic monuments of veterans, and public buildings with Biblical references.

Stop atheists from suing any Christian group from upholding their beliefs in public forums and for that matter personal lifestyles.

The list could go on. But if any of these types of attacks are done the attackers should be held legally accountable and brought to justice.

As many in that area including Ted Cruz rally to stop this injustice, I can tell the Mayor and those who support her agenda heedful advice.

Texans are strong-willed fighters for Biblical truth.texas

She is picking on the wrong group of people.

My Response to the “Red Herring” Constitutional Lawyer code named dougindeap….

The following is a response after receiving a comment about my posts concerning  the Separation of Church and State. This person only left an email address. He goes by the name of dougindeap of which I googled finding him to be an atheist lawyer. If I am incorrect about this, I am sure he will let me know.

I should be so honored that he would strive to search out bloggers like myself, whom he has never commented before on any other posts of mine. But of course, he would choose to argue his points that what I have written is a “red herring.” He replies in his “legal jargon” that supposedly makes him sound smart or “Constitutionally Unchallenged.”

For whatever its worth, at least he writes in a civil yet statistical tone. However, the following has been my feeling regarding the overall purpose of atheists.

First of all there is nowhere that I have read in the constitution the separation of church and state is a bedrock of anything. In its makeup is the point being stated the GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHT TO INFERFERE WITH THE CHURCH, HOW IT IS RUN, WHAT IT DOES, WHERE IT WANTS TO PLACE NATIVITY SCENES OR THE CROSS OF CHRIST. Never mind the Founding Fathers had church services in the US Capitol until after the Civil War. Never mind there were over 1400 written, signed proclamations of prayer and fasting by these leaders. Never mind…..constitution for a moral people only

Wait a minute….

Why is it atheist/agnostics/unbelievers spend all of their time fighting, suing, arguing against something they believe doesn’t exist?

Since you don’t believe in God the Creator of the Universe or his Son Jesus, the Savior of the world, then you really have nothing to say, write or sue. How can you write or sue something that simply isn’t anywhere?

If you believe God never existed, then you have no right to be upset, call others out or sue to remove a cross on a public hill because to you that cross isn’t there. How could it be?

If you truly stand by your atheist conviction, then you really should keep quiet, stay out of places where God is represented and……stop your efforts to pursue the “nothing” you continue to fight against. What is that like?

Why would you want to be caught up in any action or words where you mention the name “God?” How can you possibly stand by lawsuit after lawsuit against “a nonentity?” Since God isn’t anywhere, or he is nowhere then why do you seek out others who do believe?

If there is nothing there, it is empty space, zilch, zero, air.

If God isn’t there, anywhere or even worshipped by those who do believe in Him, why do you care?

For that matter we who do claim to follow Jesus, have the same authority as you do to believe in Him and regard His presence anywhere we choose without being concerned about those like yourself who don’t believe in him.

After all the Constitution gives us that right. You know that “separation of church and state” protects us; not unbelievers.

I didn’t hunt you down. I wasn’t “trolling” to find unbelievers but then how could I? If you don’t believe then you have nothing to say…..which means you shouldn’t be replying to anyone about what you know isn’t there. How do you choose words about nothing?

Your actions to continually “troll” bloggers such as myself to argue what you deem as “nothing” is laughable. Or maybe another “red herring.”

Therefore Mr. Dougindeap, all comments from your perspective don’t exist.

Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

Now the truth is coming out

Please listen to this video. If there was any doubt how President Obama was re-elected, this reveals the truth of what he did.  Mitt Romney was blasted by even some Republicans stating the President bought votes with our tax dollars. He was right.
If Detroit voted for him to get bailed out, who else did he promise such a lie? And what gives the President the right to do such a crooked deal with our money?  Wake up America.  No wonder he wants to raise taxes so much; he has a lot of people to payoff.

“Spreading the Wealth” or “Spreading the Gospel”

The “Spread the Wealth” idea the present administration has attempted to entice the nation to accept is not Biblical.

Praying seriously about the state of our country and this election for the last year, God finally revealed to me what I needed to know.

I have found the more I “pester” God about an issue the more he reveals to me. However, many prayer requests remain on his cherry wooden desk waiting on his response.

Maybe he needs a better assistant.

A few weeks ago I received an Absentee Ballot due to circumstances surrounding Nov 6th.  Knowing God does not want Christians to vote for anyone who actively opposes his Biblical references, is not only a vote against God, it will in turn declare an unrighteous position on the voter that automatically affects our country.

The issue of “Spread the Wealth” program was one of my many “questions for God.”

God knows the hearts of people and how much we want to help others.

The programs already administered by the government like welfare, food stamps; WIC, Medicare, etc. are given out by citizens who qualify. The funds are collected in taxes. What happens if the government is broke?

No problem. Raise taxes.

IF THEY RAISE TAXES ON ME I WILL YELL. PRESENTLY I AM PAYING ESTIMATED TAXES ON MONEY THE GOVERNMENT THINKS I WILL GET. NOT MONEY I AM RECEIVING; THE GOVERNMENT WANTS THEIR SHARE BEFORE I GET MINE!

I feel better now.

Governments who continue to seize taxpayer’s money will eventually be given more control.

So the people the government says they want to help end up with less because there is no more money from the taxpayers……

I wonder if the government is going to take from the homeless what they don’t have.

Oh. They took it from me when I was a single mother, who worked while half dead for 12 years. We barely had enough to eat but they taxed me because I had a job. Therefore, forget giving me food stamps or WIC. I didn’t qualify.

Somehow that wasn’t fair to me or my child. I should protest.

God in his infinite humor loves to entice me with his clever devices of announcing himself. As if he is playing a game, I am chasing after him through the mazes of his word so I CAN HAVE SOME PEACE!

Besides my marathon running after him, he thrives on NEVER DOING IT THE SAME WAY TWICE!

The following is his plan of equality written centuries ago that our government has shoved out the door.

1 Corinthians 8:13-15 “Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.”

That’s it folks; plain and simple. We help each other willingly as we have so that when we need, others help us.

You ask, “Isn’t that what the government is doing?”

Giving is opposite of taking which is the government’s idea; not God’s.

God’s heavenly bank is always overflowing. Governments were not created to be a source of income for everything. Taxes are specifically for building up a defense to protect the people and infrastructure.

James 1:27 “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

The above verses spell out that equality is the church’s job, not the government. When God is in charge, you won’t get ripped off.

As we have, we give.

The more you give, the more abundance will flow into your life so you can give more…..

So here is a little quiz: if God controls who our leaders are and we only have 2 candidates, which one speaks from a Biblical standpoint? The following are a few of the major differences in the two candidates.

President Obama: For: abortion, gay marriage, defense cuts, raise taxes, national healthcare, more spending (no budget)

Against: support of Israel, Keystone pipeline, drilling on U.S. soil,

Governor Mitt Romney: For: Support of Israel 100%, strengthen defense, lower taxes, balanced budget, cut spending,

Against: abortion, gay marriage, Obamacare, illegal immigration.

The question you should ask yourself is do you vote your opinion of what you think this country needs or God’s point of view?

If you aren’t sure, maybe you should ask God what you should do. And if you are sure, check with God anyway; he likes that.

Rumblings of Noah’s Ark

As you can see from this very amateur video our cat loves this swing. Late afternoons the swing becomes her bed. She has no fear of the movement; in fact she loves for us to push her in it like a child!

In her mind, the swing is now hers. She allows us to join her as long as she gives us space to do so. Once we are settled in beside her, contentment is established and she is one happy, feline.

Cats are graceful and smooth in their movements. Blessed with perfect balance, leaping to great heights or falling from trees, cats usually land on their feet.

The peacefulness she exhibits, her emotional nod of unwanted prey and the details of her balance are characteristics natural to cats. Her instincts, perfect as they are can be the workings of God.

Animals can be tell-tell signs of our surroundings. As if to feel sensations from the earth beneath them that we don’t, our pets may be giving us signals.

Reading the book, “Unusual Prophecies being Fulfilled” by Perry Stone, he elaborates how animals play a role in impending catastrophes.

In 2004, the tsunami that hit from Indonesia to Kenya killed around 300,000 people. That figure does not count the thousands that went missing. After the massive destruction, many were shocked to find few animals had died. They reacted by moving inland and away from the coasts to higher ground before it came ashore.

The strange behavior of elephants in a park in Sri Lanka were seen running from the beach inland an hour before the tsunami showed up. Some of the elephants were carrying tourists on their backs and saved their lives.

December 26 in Sri Lanka, it was noted how odd birds, monkeys and dogs were acting before the waters ravaged the area. Bats usually sleep upside down during the day, but 30 minutes before the tsunami rolled in the bats were flying around.

The age old question of how the animals knew to go to Noah’s Ark before the flood is one many have asked. If animal’s sense natural disasters prior to them occurring, is it possible they headed to higher ground such as the location of the Ark before Noah closed the doors?

Genesis 7:4 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

The ground beneath us changes causing atmospheric rumblings before a catastrophe occurs. Animals instinctively know something very bad is about to take place as they react to these underground altercations.

Dogs bark nervously and cats whine showing signs of restlessness before an earthquake. Before Christ, in Helice, Greece was a devastating earthquake. History recorded that prior to this quake, rodents ran away, chickens stopped laying eggs and bees left their hives in a panic.

Our animals may play a much larger role in our lives besides giving us laughter and joy.

As Geologists probe the world of possible natural disasters, hopefully we can learn from the many hurricanes, tornados and storms that have ravaged the US in the last 25 years.

We should be alert, aware and pray for protection as the earth rumbles beneath us. These “birth pains” are like our animals, warnings of what may come.

As far as the theory of how the animals knew to walk two-by-two into the Ark, you have to admit the whole story is quite bizarre.

Truth is, maybe we have underestimated our furry friends.

Or better yet, we underestimated who created them.

All is right with the world….

It is rather remarkable that we are here now; on this earth at this time.
We are a chosen few to live in these days.

Our world is in famine, war, cultural adversities, and moral decay,
natural disasters gone wild and evil dictators who kill their own people.

Media bias, crime and violence, job loss, sickness, depression, terror,
hate filled protests and a government that believes money
grows only to spread the wealth.

Drugs are running rampant, alcohol abuse, teen pregnancy, no money, bankrupt cities,
divorce at over 50%, infidelity, scandals and a Vegas party in a hot tub using your
hard-earned tax dollars to fund their fun.

Movies and television couldn’t get much worse (or could they)
Christian persecution on the rampage, boycotting chicken and children starving.

Dysfunctional families, wasteful spending, divisions among friends, political fights,
assault on free speech, educational decline, and neighbors who hate cats.

Offenses, overextended expectations, fraudulent government programs,
civil unrest, religious debates, social media frenzy,
and parents who spar at their kids sports events.

There are countries with nuclear weapons, gun control, and assaults on the family,
church attendance decline, movie theater massacres,
and a government who believes in everyone getting their fair share.

Economic collapse, debilitating diseases,
drought, lack of integrity, loss of truth,
healthcare mandates, homosexuality and
a nation that has fallen from grace.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.”

All is wrong with the world gives precedence to God showing up and showing off.

When you think it can’t get any worse God will perform outlandish miracles,
signs and wonders, and send an army of angels.

While it all appears to be falling apart is God’s cue to come rushing in
to save the children, rescue the lost and appoint leaders.

Jesus will appear in dreams, cultivate the needy, send shepherds to his worn out flock.

Diseases will disappear, families will re-unite, and crime and violence will be defeated.

Provisions will be dispersed as bread and fish, Tim Tebow’s will be born and the lame will walk.

Hearts will be changed, prisoners freed and the homeless given shelter.

Holocausts will end, dictators will die and addictions will be delivered.

Enemies will become friends, God will go back to schools, and persecutions will diminish.

Marriages will be saved, churches will be filled with the Holy Spirit, and healthcare unnecessary.

Perversions will cease, veils removed and truth will emerge like the rising sun.

Hollywood will be still and know that God is God and Michael Moore will beg for Jesus to be his Savior.

Greed will cease to exist and scandals will be written in the sand; justice will be served.

Prejudicial favoritism will be silenced, gardens and farms will flourish with abundance and chauvinistic governments will be removed.

God will blow in like a mighty wind chasing evil out in a word.

We, people are living these days. History repeats itself. Persecution and revival arriving in parallel time.

As Christians are beaten, shut out and deemed intolerant, we also become victorious. In times of hate filled bigotry toward God’s people, the church will rise up acquiring a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit.

As in the past, it is during these miserable eras the lights begin to flicker. Cold hearts melt as Jesus instills his truth. Lost souls are gathered into his fold receiving the wealth of his love.

Acts 17: 26-27 “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.”

If you feel as if the world is caving in, hang on. Realize you were chosen for this time and place specifically by God. Out of all the past generations, you have been selected to live during these last days.

Yes. All is right with the world.

No Dining Allowed

Forget ever going out to eat again.  Surfing the net was an article about the worst restaurants for labor and working conditions for 2012.  Where I live is a very limited dining experience to begin with and after reading this list, well I guess we will starve.

Cracker Barrel
Wendy’s
Sonic
Applebee’s ( and they have the best peach tea)
Outback Steakhouse
McDonalds (never get our orders correct anyway)
Dominoes Pizza
Golden Corral
Saxby’s
Denney’s
Starbucks (really?)
Dunkin Donuts
Olive Garden
Papa Johns
Panera  Bread
Subway
TGIF Friday’s
IHOP
Taco Bell

This is a travesty.  Aren’t we supposed to be living in the land of the free; the land of opportunity? Isn’t America a place to wallow in the French fries of grease and hamburgers made of what we called in school “mystery meat?”

Well, I can’t now. Besides the questionable ingredients in foods, the wages are poverty level and working conditions deplorable.

And they wonder why restaurant workers are being caught doing who knows what to your food? How disgusting. The thought I might be consuming food spilled on the floor, ravaged by rodents or even worse, spit on, makes me think more than twice about “the dining experience.”  There went my appetite.

Times are hard but that is no excuse for employers to make employees grovel for less than minimum wage to perform a job unfit for “Gollum.” He is just plain creepy.

Reading this article makes me want to put on my “white gloves,” fake it as a food critic and invade their kitchens. The almighty dollar has ravaged our feast time with its greed.

No wonder the work force has a tempered attitude. Who would want to spend hours a day in despicable surroundings for a few pennies? Oh and by the way, the American public is no “walk in the park” when it comes to a congenial tone to one who is behind the counter at McDonalds.

So what is an employee to do? What if you have to work and the unemployment rate is 10.7 % as it is in our area? You settle for less to pay your bills. You take what you can find. You subject yourself to unruly bosses who have no compassion or heart to invest in their employees.

What does the Bible say about employers?

Colossians 4:1 “Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.”

Proverbs 22:16 “Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth, or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.”

God is clear employers are to treat those who labor for them well; with dignity and respect. God is also clear that we as Christians in any job should work for God first.

Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”

If you will work unto the Lord he will find favor for you with your employers.

God is many things including a great recruiter. Ask him to find you the job he wants you to have. He did it for us.

As far as the dining experience, maybe God is trying to tell me something I don’t want to hear which is “learn to cook.”
