However, during peak moments of heightened confusion and muddle seems to be when God likes to talk!
Giving me a phrase over and over, I finally understood he was trying to tell me something. Go figure.
“The louder they get, the more they fear.”
He then reminded me of past voices belonging to loud, threatening, and angry mouths. One in particular after the fact, taught me a huge lesson.
“The empty vessel makes the loudest sound.”
Ignorance is louder than reason.
Barking dogs seldom bite.
Never fear a loud mouth for they fear what they are yelling will come back to bite them. Why?
They know they are wrong.
Threats, arrogant jargon and lies are a hopeful cover-up to their own insecurities and failures.
Proverbs 26:28 “A lying tongue hates those it hurts, and a flattering mouth works ruin.”
Most of the time the lying accuser cannot take what they dish out. Offenses put them on the defense so much so covering up the lie they made with another lie only leads to more lies.
Proverbs 10:19 “Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.”
The result is the liar can’t keep their lies straight.
The tactic is to incite fear. Make people believe the threats are real to fill their selfish needs of control and power. In reality the loudest for the most part are blowing hot air.
Call their bluff. Eventually a mistake(s) will be made; an oversight they didn’t see.
Those in the line of fire should stay calm, don’t panic and allow patience to unravel their dirty laundry.
America is educated yet you wouldn’t know it by the ridiculous actions and absurd speechmaking making the rounds of communication. Yet, the saying goes,
“Attitude before genius.”
Thankfully, maybe that’s why I never heard from Harvard.
