It appears I have made some kind of record with Dell Computers.
I love this Laptop; it makes the Acer Aspire I sent back seem like it was made from plastic.
However there are no guarantees with technology. I bought this Dell Inspiron on August 6th.
And this last time which happened yesterday afternoon was after Dell replaced it!
The great plus is it includes Windows 7 so I am not without the use of it.
Asking her if this was a problem other Dell /Windows 8 users were experiencing like me she replied,
“Ugh…No Ma’am. This is quite unfortunate. In fact I don’t know of anyone else who has had this issue but you.”
I do not wish bad “tech germs” on anyone but it would have been nice to know I wasn’t alone in this.
Evidently they are so concerned about it at the end of our very long time together, her Supervisor wanted to speak to me. He re-assured me of their support and to contact them as often as needed. I refrained from discussing my history of “technology/appliance failures.”
As far as their support goes, I could not ask for anything better. Dell has been wonderful and completely up front unlike ACER. They both agreed this is making them curious because this is a very well built machine.
So now I have come to the conclusion their must be a brutal fight going on in the “spirit” world and I am caught in the middle.
And thinking all the way back to February, this is the 4th laptop I have been through since then.
My husband has requested I leave his stuff alone; he fears I will break something else.
So much for love.
